Where are you from and what’s your educational background?
I’m from New Jersey. I studied Film & Animation at RIT for 4 years, and I’ve taken character animation classes at iAnimate and AnimSquad.
What other projects have you worked on?
I’ve done some TV and web commercial work for M&M’s, LEGO, and more.
What do you do on Pure?
What drew you to working on Pure?
The teaser really impressed me. I then saw a call for animators and jumped on.
What excites you most about the project?
What excites me is the characters and world of Pure. There’s a ton of detail and backstory here. Everything has a purpose. This would lend well to other installments – whether it be another short film or beyond.
What has the experience of working with a virtual team been like?
Artella has made the file management side very easy. Slack has been great for communication.
What do you hope to gain from working on Pure?
It’s always great to work on different types of projects. This one has a lot of physical action, which is a fun challenge.
What’s going to surprise people about this film?
That it was made in our free time.
